Regular Monthly Board Meetings - the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.

Elections in 2012

2012 promises to be an exciting year for elections - there are a few changes and additions to voting - see "Election & Voting Info" on the left.  I will update any voting information as I receive it.

 New to recycling - we have contracted with a company which will accept used printer cartridges and toners and pay the Town for them, postage paid.  There is a box on the counter in the recycling center for them.

In addition to official business posted on this web site, we would like to begin historical perspectives of Akan properties.  It will take some doing, but worth the effort, I'm sure.  You can send your information, as well as photos, to the above e-mail address.

Notary Public:  Clerk Leifheit is now a certified Notary Public.  If you need a document notarized, please call the clerk at 872-2274 for an appointment.

Next Summer - 2012 - Farmer's Market:  we will be starting one up at the hall this  coming summer.  Watch for future developments.  If you know of anyone who would be interested in helping organize and selling please contact Marie Leifheit at 872-2274
