Minutes of Regular Akan Town Board Meeting
7 P.M. Thursday September 9, 2010
Chairman Oates called the meeting to order.
Roll Call: Sup. Weum; Sup. Storms; Chair. Oates; Treas. Harris; Clerk Queen Present.
Motion to verify meeting posting & approve agenda by Sup. Storms; 2nd by Sup. Weum. Motion carried.
Chair. Oates asked the board to approve the minutes of the Regular Board meeting of August 12th, 2010 as presented to the board, motion to approve by Sup. Storms, 2nd by Sup. Weum. Motion carried.
Treasurers Report presented Clerk Queen, Motion to accept by Sup. Weum, 2nd Sup. Storms. Motion carried
Present and Approve payment of May bills, Motion to approve bills by Sup. Storms, 2nd by Sup. Weum Motion carried.
Public Comments: Left Open
Old Business: None
New Business: None
Roads:
Chair Oates presented estimates for fixing the old truck. Sup. Storms made the motion to repair the truck; 2nd by Sup Weum, motion carried.
Gravel is needed for Hill Rd., and Town line Rd.
Discussion on part-time employee for snow plowing.
Recycling:
Discussion on a recycling attendant
Fall Clean up dates set. October 23rd and Oct. 30. Prices to be set at October meeting.
Motion to adjourn by Sup. Storms, 2nd by Sup. Weum, Meeting adjourned
